Lisa Renée Miller
Role of Angela- Executive Producer - Director
Lisa Renée Miller is an actress/producer who had been under the tutelage of Director/Acting Coach Reuben Yabuku (8 years), Aïdia Muñez of The Actors Workshop Detroit, and Acting Coach Sheik Mahmud-Bey of 25th Framed Films. Lisa is signed with agents in the Midwest and Southeast regions. Lisa's acting career started in Theatre with leading/supporting roles performed at the Millennium Center, Detroit, Detroit Music Hall, and local churches throughout Detroit. Lisa has experience in independent films, commercial work, and voice overs. She also starred in a web series, "It's So Complicated" Written/Directed/Filmed by Randy Holloway. Lisa's latest production work was "A Raisin in the Sun," where she portrayed the role of Ruth Younger. Lisa Renée is now working on her first movie short as Executive Producer of "Beautifully Unlayered," a story that is inspired by her life's story. Lisa Renée is very passionate and dedicated to the art and is always auditioning and ready to dive into the next project.

As a Detroit native, Chevonne Wilson fell in love with performing arts at church where she was first introduced to musical theatre in her teenage years. She continued to grow in ballet, tap and musical ability from childhood to adulthood eventually metamorphosing from theatre to film. While on stage at Detroit Repertory Theatre she was handpicked of the role of Mamie Till in "Till We're Free," where she first discovered her love of various accents and eventually incorporated the ability to convey characters from ages o14 to 86 in other roles, allowing her audiences to take a journey with every character in each film, television or wen series and play. She continues to explore and expand in multiple productions that have been viewed on amazon, Netflix or YouTube including: Swing Low, Bianca, Bennett Song Family, Ten Minutes to Earth, With, The Denny Dooley Story just to name a few. She has won awards in film and is beyond excited to be a part of the talented cast of Beautifully Unlayered.

Josh Bartlett
Role of Dr. Peterson
A versatile talent. Josh Bartlett (Dr. Peterson) tells tales through rich and resonant performances in works modern and classic, on both the stage and screen. A resident of Ferndale, MI where he works as a performer and writer, Josh can be seen in films like "Detroit", and can be heard showcasing his vocal talents in a number of national broadcast ads. After recently filming the first season of TV's "Smoking Good" last fall (2020), he's pleased to return for his third project with Director Sheik Mahmud-Bey.

Ciarah Amaani
Role of Valerie
Ciarah Amaani, Detroit native, is a budding up and coming actress destined to perform since the age of 3. While receiving a Bachelors in Fine Arts at Wayne State University, she received a scholarship to study Film/TV at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Sydney, Australia. She spent 3 years touring the U.S. on multiple tours while living in New York. She's compassionate and diligent in the way she approaches her work and is very proud of the media portfolio she's building including popular works on Tube, Amazon, TvOne, and YouTube: Dear Future Husband, First Date, Fatal Attraction (tv series) the upcoming season of McGraw Ave and the sequel The Bag Girls. She has been and continues t be involved in multiple award winning projects including the Block Watch (web-series), Grinding Doubt (table-read). She is extremely grateful to be a part of the phenomenal cast of Beautifully Unlayered and is positive this project will leave a much needed lasting impact.
